Here is one dedicated fan.
We are a little late on this short story that happened late last week.
from the AP:
Two Pullman men were beaten with a golf
club after urinating on a vehicle downtown.
Police say the men suffered injuries after they relieved
themselves early Friday morning on a car they thought was
unoccupied.
Police say the owner got out of the car and assaulted the two
men with a golf club. One of the men suffered a possible arm
fracture and was transported to Pullman Regional Hospital.
Police Sergeant Dan Dornes said urinating in public is a crime,
but the two men will probably not be cited in this case. Police are
trying to locate the owner of the car.
There has been a shooting in Pullman more in a bit Has been updated.
From Dnews.com:
Pullman police are investigating an early morning shooting on College Hill.
Police report that a man was taken to Pullman Regional Hospital early this morning after being shot in the head by an acquaintance at the Providence Court Apartments.
Pullman Police Cmdr. Chris Tennant said the 22-year-old Pullman resident suffered non- life threatening injuries and was able to lead detectives to a suspect.
A 20-year-old man was taken into custody in Moscow after crossing state lines.
And from the AP:
Pullman Police Commander Chris Tennant said 20-year-old Lewis A. Lawrence was being held in the Latah County Jail as the suspected shooter.
The shooting victim, Michael Fuauu, 22, was recovering in the hospital.
Tennant said police were called to the Providence Court apartments at the bottom of Valley Road for a gunshot wound a little after 12:30 a.m. There they found Fuauu suffering from a shotgun blast to the head.
Tennant said Fuauu had reportedly answered the door and was shot. He said police were told the alleged shooter was an acquaintance of Fuauu’s. Fuauu and witnesses identified the alleged shooter.
A short time later Moscow Police stopped a vehicle and arrested two men, including Lawrence. Tennant said the other man, 21-year-old Rylan J. Wallace, also of Moscow, is being investigated as a possible accomplice.
Tennant said formal arrest warrants were issued out of Whitman County charging Lawrence with three counts of attempted murder and one count of first-degree burglary. Wallace’s arrest warrant is for one count of rendering criminal assistance in the first degree.
Both men appeared in Latah County Magistrate Court Tuesday afternoon and waived extradition. Prosecutor Bill Thompson said they would be transferred to Whitman County within 24 hours.
Bail was set at $200,000 each in Whitman County.

Ever feel like things aren’t expensive enough…well, sometimes it
doesn’t matter when you’re supporting your own. Cougs have a chance to
help students at WSU Tri-Cites by supporting a new "Taste of History:
20 Years of Washington Wines"
From WSU News:
RICHLAND, Wash. — The inaugural “A Taste of History: 20 Years of
Washington Wines” offers a rare opportunity to taste two decades of
wines while supporting Washington State University Tri-Cities.
This
exclusive event on July 17 raises funds for scholarships and vineyard
development for the viticulture and enology academic program at WSU
Tri-Cities.
“Taste of History” features a guided tasting of
interesting and exquisite library wines donated by four of the state’s
most established wineries: Chateau Ste. Michelle, Columbia Winery,
Gordon Brothers Cellars and Woodward Canyon Winery. For the list of
specific wines to be served, visit www.tricity.wsu.edu/historyofwine.
“This
unique tasting is a great opportunity to relive the last 20 years of
Washington wine and gain an appreciation for the progress we’ve made —
and truly appreciate the excellence that has always been there,” said
Vicki Gordon of Gordon Brothers Cellars. “It shows me that support for
Washington State University’s very own V & E program is not only
warranted, but long overdue.”
